    Summary:  Analyze and recommend prioritization of container moves based on capacity model. Support problem solving of throughput of empty container returns and full container moves to get loads in the right place at the right time. Responsible for evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures and determining and implementing changes as necessary.  Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Perform a variety of tasks that revolve around the entire operation. Communicates container prioritization to team. Create detention dashboard monitor for drayage and DCs. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  

    Responsibilities

    • Design and maintain labor resource planning tool with automated data pulls.
    • Automate delivery order process for onboarding/new customers. Obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
    • Provide analytical tools to help Operations Manager to manage personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
    • Create and monitor costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. Develop communications to key partners (DC’s) when target conditions are not met.
    • Track containers and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
    • Perform, compile, store, and retrieve production data for reports. Automate whenever possible.
    • Document changes to company processes and procedures on a quarterly basis.

    Qualifications

    Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation experience; at least 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
