    Summary:  We are ideally looking for someone with an Operations background out of a Transportation company who understands the "behind the scenes" aspects of the transportation business and has a strong aptitude for technology. If you are an Operations Manager at a transportation company, yearning to grow in the area of technology and IT, this could be the job for you.  Key ingredients are: transportation knowledge (linehaul, drayage, transload, distribution), excellent MS Office Suite skills, the desire to learn coding and advanced IT skills, and project management capabilities. SQL and Truckmate would be a huge plus. The TMS Operations Business Analyst is a critical position in our IT department and plays a major role in the evaluation, selection, design and implementation of new systems and TMS interfaces.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate business and customer system requirements.
    • Business process designs within a specified business function.
    • Propose solutions based on business process designs.
    • Provides research to support process enhancement budget/resource estimation.

    Qualifications

    • Transportation operations background
    • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
    • Ability to excel in a high energy environment
    • SQL and Truckmate would be a huge plus
    • Must have a strong desire to grow in the area of IT
