    About The Role: The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst is responsible for applying advanced business logistics principles to information technology data to support Warehouse Management System (WMS) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system.

    Responsibilities

    • Support Third-Party Logistics (3PL) to customer EDI integration.
    • Utilize advanced knowledge of distribution and warehousing services to implement, document, and maintain EDI integration solutions within BizTalk.
    • Organize databases of logistics information and support comprehensive project plans for the transport, warehousing, and tracking of customer goods.
    • Align processes to EDI platforms and related technologies to streamline processes to reduce costs, reduce human-error (e.g. data input errors), improve supply chain management, and reduce cycle times.
    • Apply business data management principles and IT knowledge to support internal and external customers for EDI integration solutions.
    • Interpreting customer business processes and related data to understand content and requirements for application to the WMS platform.
    • Support 3PL EDI integration to create and maintain interfaces and the corresponding data content based on customer specifications.
    • Provide Microsoft .NET integration solutions to other non-SQL EDI integration targets.
    • Support IT solutions to manage vendor compliant EDI transactions and interface compositions, while utilizing BizTalk and iSoft (AS2) to address reporting integration needs.
    • Participate in key EDI integration projects to create automated electronic linkage between the 3PL's WMS and the customer's order and inventory management systems.
    • Facilitate the process of creating and managing integration interfaces within the context of customer's data content and requirements.
    • Participate as a member of the project team in support of deliverables for the creation, transport and interpretation of the electronic equivalents.

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology Management, or related. Will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology Management, or related, along with five (5) years of related work experience.
    • Academic or industry experience and demonstrated proficiency in Software development within Microsoft BI stack, including BizTalk Server, ASP.NET, and VB.NET.
    • Academic or industry experience in at least six (6) of the following skills: (1) Web-Development Tools, including C/C#, HTML, XML, and Microsoft SharePoint 2010; (2) Code development with Structured Query Language (SQL); (3) Administration of software applications on Microsoft servers; (4) Integration solutions with web services, .NET applications, and MAS financial systems; (5) Logistics and Operational Supply Chain Management; (6) Development of business/ IT project plans in support of customer requests; (7) Process development for vendor compliant EDI transactions; or (8) IT Project Management and related analysis
